Clean But Very Uncomfortable
Rooms were spacious and clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. All 8 pillows were incredibly hard and lumpy. This was a sentiment shared by our entire group. Considering sleeping is the very reason people book rooms, it’s odd that this is where the hotel decided to be cheap. We all agreed if we had brought our own pillows we’d been fine, but that’s not very realistic for a business trip.

Sleeping Heart Rate And Sleep Apnea
One of the most common sleep disorders and one thats directly correlated with heart rate is sleep apnea. This is when a person experiences airway blockages that cause them to involuntarily stop breathing during sleep.
Also called obstructive sleep apnea , this sleep disorder is most commonly caused by obesity, body mass index, chronic sinusitis, large tonsils or adenoids, large neck circumference, and smoking, says nurse practitioner Kathleen Davis. So how do you know if you have OSA? Davis says that loud snoring, accompanied by restless sleep and daytime fatigue, could indicate the presence of sleep apnea.
The pauses in breath caused by this disorder can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. People with sleep apnea dont return to regular breathing gracefully: The transition is often marked by a gasp, snort, or choke, which tends to startle the sleeper awake. These sleep disruptions are why people with sleep apnea often experience daytime tiredness, even after a full nights sleep.
Fatigue and frustration aside, sleep apnea also affects sleeping heart rate. When you stop breathing while you sleep, your heart rate drops, and then your involuntary reflexes make you startle into a micro-arousal, which causes your heart rate to accelerate quickly, says The National Sleep Foundation. In addition to increasing blood pressure, this rapid decrease and increase in heart rate leads to an irregular heart rhythm, or cardiac arrhythmia.

Very quiet & clean hotel. Beds are comfortable, staff is pleasant , except for when they get busy at the front desk, then they get cranky if there is a line, the phone is ringing, etc. I have stayed here multiple times on business & have always had a pleasant experience. The Ground Round attached to the hotel needs to be remodeled, but the food & staff are quiet lovely.

Extremely friendly, and helpful staff! The room was not the most stylish that I have seen, but it was pretty modern, and in general, NOT in need of renovation. The room also very clean and comfortable.

Super Clean And Great For Kids
We had a great stay and enjoyed the pool & splash area. It was great for my 6 and 2 year old. The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. Will absolutely be returning. The connected restaurant was good too!

Family Friendly And Comfortable
I stayed here for a Packers Game and was surprised at the 25-30 minute ride to the stadium ballooning into a really long trip with post game traffic. The location was in a strange location on the access road by the interstate. So, although it was close to the main road, it was a little tricky to get to the drive in. The staff was warm and friendly. The accommodations were clean and utilitarian. There were supplies to replace forgotten toiletry items. There was a restaurant that served all the major meals with a full bar. The parking lot was ample and the lobby had a big TV. There was a gym and a pool . Overall the rooms were adequate and comfortable. There was a bit of a crush that did not allow my party adjoining rooms. But, we were placed close to one another. If there is not another place closer available, this hotel was reasonably priced, family friendly and of quality.

Slow Resting Heart Rates
A slow resting heart rate can mean different things, depending on the circumstances. For example, it sometimes suggests that a person has a healthier heart says Dr. Jason Wasfy at Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center. In certain cases, a lower resting heart rate can mean a higher degree of physical fitness, which is associated with reduced rates of cardiac events like heart attacks.
In other cases, having a slow heart rate could signify something more serious it all depends on your activity level and age. Its normal for the elderly to have a lower than average resting heart rate, for example. So what if your resting heart rate is well below 60 bpm, but youre not an athlete or a senior?
According to the American Heart Association, this could suggest the presence of bradycardia when a persons heart rate is lower than it should be. Bradycardia doesnt always cause symptoms, but when it does, it can cause lightheadedness, weakness, confusion, and lack of energy when exercising. Having these symptoms in addition to a low heart rate may mean its time to seek medical advice.

Ground Round: Our Eating Experience
The food was wonderful. My husband likes the variety of fish for Friday Night Fish Fry, as does my daughter from out of town where Friday Fish Fries are not popular. We eat there almost weekly, not only on Fridays. They offer other nightly specials as well, even free snacks for Happy Hour in the bar. The service was superior to any other place I go. Dolly Jo provided us with great service, checking on us often, keeping our drinks full and offering a friendly smile.

Nice Place Nice People
The lobby is currently undergoing renovation, but we experienced no excessive noise or problems. The hotel was clean, and the employees friendly. Our kids loved the pool with its waterslide and hot tub. My only complaints were 1. the housekeeper didn’t do the best job leaving some trash and the coffee grounds in the coffee maker. And 2. the pillows were quite uncomfortable. Neither would keep me from coming back or anything. Overall a nice place especially if you’re traveling with children. The attached Ground Round has a discount for breakfast and a nice happy hour.

Great Corporate Place But Also A Weekend Getaway
Hotel is new, updated and sits on a golf course . Place is really well appointed and the service is incredible. Really make business travel much more tolerable. Shuttle to/from ATW and the managers specials and other fringe benefits make this the only place I’d consider. Still, ultimately, the staff and especially Mark and Jackie are amazing
